I love to cook in season. In the summer I like very simple, easy to make meals. Just learning how to use a crock pot. Let's not talk about the time I tried to cook seafood chowder with sweetend condensed milk. oooops.

My mom's Thanksgiving stuffing.

Following a recipe. I haven't learned how to deviate with success yet. I do, however, cook a mean spicy garlic shrimp.
My cooking tragedies
I already mentioned the chowda. Then there was "chicken mush soup" and oh yeah, let's not forget "spit out the beans" crock pot baked beans

Moussaka
I wish I had baked the eggplant instead of cooking it in olive oil. The eggplant soaked up all the olive oil then rendered it out during cooking. The result? I spent four hours cooking and ended up with a big pan of gross hot oil and a broken sauce. You might have also mentioned that the eggplant should be rinsed after sitting in salt!

Chicken with Vegetables
I made this recipe because I cook and bring meals to mom and she is PICKY. She loved it. The great thing is it is low in fat. Good job!
