I like to smoke ribs, and plank salmon. My kids say my smoked turkey is their favorite kind of cow. Love cooking ingredients new to me, and discovering new flavors. I want to dive deeper into baking and possibly candy making, but am nervous to. For a couple years we did New Years Eve Deep Fry. Very interesting and fun. Having the confidence to tell my wife and kids that I will cook whatever they want for their birthday is fun also. So far, 3rd place in our church's chili cook-off.
