Microwave Fried Rice
Simple to make. I couldn't wait to taste it. It was pretty good. I thought it needed a touch of salt, I used low sodium soy and bouillon in this, maybe that's why. It tasted a little bitter or sour to me. I added just pinch of sugar, shake of salt and pepper to my portion and it did make it better. I would make this again as a quick and easy fried rice. Thanks for the recipe!

Creole Green Beans
These were pretty good. Made to the recipe with the exception of the creole seasoning. I was ready to put it in when I found I didn't have any! So added some paprika, basil, oregano, thyme, garlic powder and some red pepper flakes. I used my frozen green beans which were a little watery as opposed to store green beans so I ended up cooking them a little longer. I think the butter is unneeded in this dish with all the bacon in it. Unless you use just a couple of Tbsp and saute the onions, peppers, and garlic first, then add the beans and bacon. The bacon also could be cut in half. Had a good flavor, wasn't too spicy for us. I will probably make again. Thanks for the recipe.

Romanian Apple Cake
This was a nice apple cake, made to the recipe. My apples carry a lot of moisture, so needs a little more flour for me, otherwise it's too moist. I would have liked to see some more cinnamon in it. Good warmed up. Did powdered sugar glaze for the top, but it doesn't really need anything. Thanks for the recipe. 10/26/09~I have made this 3 times since this review, just a hint, I used about 4 cups of sliced apples as most apple cake/crisp recipes use this amount. Since varying apples are different sizes (mine are huge, I only use two for 4 cups) it helps to know how much instead of how many.
