This was so good! It the cinnamon and spice reminded me of an Afghani recipe that I absolutely love! I made a rice pilaf and they were perfect together! I will definitely make this one again!

I LOVED this recipe. I also substituted dill pickle instead of green onion since that is what my boys prefer, and the result was a comment that all moms love to hear! "Wow Mom, that was delcious! Can I have another!" (And trust me, my boys are picky eaters!) I even decided to make a second serving with hard-boiled eggs I had made to use for another event. I will definitely put this recipe into my 'keepers' file! Thanks wifey!
