Italian Chicken Skillet

i followed the recipe exactly, except for using elbow mac instead of shell shaped, and we didn't really like it. i think it would have been better if the macaroni was cooked seperate from the sauce and then added. won't make again.

i made this exactly like the recipe said and it was pretty good. i'm glad i didn't follow others advice about adding sugar- the coconut milk made it plenty sweet for my taste. next time i'll add cubed potatoes and maybe some greenpepper. i'll also add something to make it spicier.

Garlic Parmesan Orzo

really delicious... and easy! i used hunks of fresh parmesan instead of shredded, and a little half and half in addition to the milk. even my 10 month old liked it! will make again and again

mmmm! the best!! i used 2 eggs, 3/4 cup milk, and 2 cups of frozen blueberries. this is one i'll definitely be making again and again!

Pirate Cake

So fun! This was my first time making a cake in any other shape than the regular old cake pans, and I think it turned out great! The diagrams were easy to follow and overall pretty simple to complete. I took the good advice of another reviewer and slightly froze the cake before frosting to prevent crumbs from mixing with the icing. The only adjustment I had to make was I needed TWO cans of white icing... when I mixed the leftover chocolate with the white, it was way to dark to be skin colored, and wouldn't have been quite enough either. I also substituted cut marshmallow for the gum for the teeth- worked great!

Favorite Banana Blueberry Quick Bread

The best bread I've ever made! I took one reviewers advice and added a little cinnamon and cloves, and also added about 2 T. of cream, b/c the batter was really thick... it turned out delicious! My husband even loved it and he's hard to please. Thanks for the great recipe- will make again, for sure!
