Me and my husband
About this Cook
My husband and I moved to Midlothian about 2 1/2 years ago. We're still not sure if we like it yet...lol. I have a 2 year old son, Cody and I'm expecting another son in June. I love to cook! Baking is probably my favorite thing to do when I am stressed. I'm always looking for new recipes!
My favorite things to cook
Four Cheese Lasagna, Cubed Steak with Gravy, Chocolate Chip Cookies, Snickerdoodles and Strawberry Pie.
My favorite family cooking traditions
When I was a little girl I loved going to my Aunts house to help her cook. I hope to teach my kids how to cook and hope they will enjoy it as much as I did when I was their age.
My cooking triumphs
When I made my first Strawberry Pie. The instructions weren't as clear as I hoped and I had never tried to cook anything like it before. It turned out great!
My cooking tragedies
Burning Cookies! Seems like every cookie sheet I have bakes each batch a little different. I need all the same brand cookie sheets!

Baby Blue Punch
I make punch for any and every occasion that I can and this is by far my favorite! We used this punch for my baby shower and it was a hit! My husband loved it as well and he is extremely picky. We plan on making this for christmas with a red drink mix instead of the blue.

Apple Pie by Grandma Ople
An awesome recipe. My husband loved it! The only thing I would change is probably the type of apple. We aren't huge fans of granny smith. It was really tart. Overall a wonderful and easy recipe.
