Baked Oatmeal I
I too applesauce instead of oil. I also used 1 egg and 1 egg white and cut the sugar to 1/2 too. I think next time I might try putting it in a 9x11 pan because was wishing it would turn out a little more crispy instead of caky. I wonder if peanut butter might also be a good substitute for the oil as well. My kids didn't like how the milk added made it a bit too mushy. I had it with applesauce on top and LOVED it! I look forward to trying it again and tweaking it some more until perfect.
