I am a single working mom with 2 teenagers. Time is essential after work so I like quick cheap meals that are good for the kids. I enjoy cooking on the weekends, making refried beans, soups, etc. for the weekdays and snacks for after school. I will be trying to get a vegetable garden started this year so I have plenty of food for the winter months, freezing and canning will be the major cooking this summer. I like to sew, read, camp, ride horses, anything outdoors. Pretty much anything. Thanksgiving is my favorite time of the year for a family tradition. Family get togethers and barbecuing are great also. A full Thanksgiving meal by myself with no help...it's hard, but very satisfying when all is said and done. Burning some foods...lol I can never roll out a decent dough, I guess I don't have what it takes to do it.
