About this Cook
I grew up in Texas but my city was full of vaqueros not cowboys and no country accents only mexican ones. It wasnt what most stereotypical people would expect from Texas.I grew up eating tacos rice anything fried and yummy lots of carbs and meat the only vegetable was the lettuce on top of my enchiladas I think its high time for a change! I have a three year old who I need to give a healthy diet hopefully this website will help!
My favorite things to cook
enchilada casserole, chicken potpie, lasagne, chickenalfredo, tacos, sopa, grilled cheese, macaroni and cheese, mole, chicken salad and potatoe salad, etc.
My favorite family cooking traditions
I loved helping my mom make tamales with the rest of my family but making them on my own not so much fun since they dont taste too good! Yummy cook-outs every sunday after church use to do that with my parents need to do that with my own family I love anything on the grill it tastes and smells so yummy!
My cooking triumphs
I followed a delicous delmonico recipe from emmeril for a steak with red wine sauce topped with blue cheese crumble with red potatoes with thyme and olive oil. The most delicious meal Ive ever made!
My cooking tragedies
So many I lost track! My chicken is always overcooked for my fear of salmonella poisioning, and many times my rice has been mushy or had dry, hard uncooked rice in it.
