This recipe is great, however I did find it EXTREMELY sweet - even for fondant! I added just a bit of almond extract and it gave it a great flavor...I will also be trying a marshmallow fondant to compare and see which gives a smoother finised texture

Crepes

This was my first go with crepes, and the recipe was so easy and great comeout! I added plenty of cinnamon to the batter, then after it was cooked I spread a thin layer of nutella, then filled with a strawberry and whipped cream combo. The boyfriend had at least 4...

Delicious Ham and Potato Soup

I ended up using quite a bit more flour than the recipe called for, but the overall result was great! This was my first time making any kind of soup and this recipe is a keeper...next time I may add the ham a little later as I found the taste of it to be dulled out by the soup

Grandpa Hubbard's Oatmeal

Extremely bland, I ended up adding almost double the brown sugar and syrup, and threw cinnamon in as well to give it flavor. But the brown sugar gave it a nice taste different then the white sugar my traditional recipe calls for.

Banana Pancakes with Berries

We found the batter to be really bland, so next time I'm adding cinnamon to the mix. I also found the strawberry topping to be extremely sweet, I added heavy whipping cream and the outcome was awesome. My daughter had a 2nd helping of pancakes (rare) and probably wouldve prefered to drink the syrup straight from the container!

Baked French Toast

My boyfriend absolutely loved this...and thats a hard reaction to get out of him! I sprinkled the top with cinnamon, roasted pecans, and drizzled syrup. Very good!
