Deep-Dish Blackberry Pie
AWESOME! Followed the directions exactly except added 1 tsp of vanilla extract to the filling part. As my mother always did for pies, I put milk in a saucer and used my fingers to lightly baste the crust with it, then sprinkled with cinnamon and sugar. I used aluminum foil to make a bubble and gently layed over the top while baking and removed 15 minutes before done. This keeps the crust from getting too brown. Awesome pie!!!

Ramen Coleslaw
This is the most requested summer recipe I make for family functions. A shortcut; buy a bag of toasted seasoned sliced almonds. I don't toast the sesame seeds and can't tell the difference. Most of my family watches their salt, so I leave out the ramen noodle seasoning packets and add a smidge of regular salt. Add the dressing with sesame seeds 1 hour before serving and the ramen noodles right before serving. Always a hit with everyone, even kids like it.

Gooey Butter Cake II
Gooey Butter Cake originated in St. Louis in the 1930's when a baker made a mistake in making a coffee cake. Everyone loved it and it took off from there. Yummmmy!
