My favorite family cooking traditions
family dinner- just Mom cooking for her family. Feasts for all holidays including birthdays- baking for days, specializing in PIES. The "COMING HOME" meal- Mom would always make our favorites when we came home.
My cooking triumphs
Pies- I've mastered all my childhood favorites. Cookies- my daughter and I baked and packaged a million! Southern- it has taken lo' these many years, but I can cook Southern---and Southern is a WORLD CLASS cuisine!
My cooking tragedies
Not so much cooking as cookware tragedies. Even I find it hard to believe the number of sauce pans I've burned beyond salvage, took me a long to stop usig HIGH.)
