My favorite things to cook
I love working with salmon! I can create meals for everyday of the week simply with getting creative with salmon. I also have sushi parties--with, of course, fresh salmon!!
My favorite family cooking traditions
My children have taken a serious interest in all things kitchen-related. We make everything from deviled eggs to Christmas cookies together. Teaching them the importance of cleaning as you go is another lesson altogether!
My cooking triumphs
I have mastered Mediterranean and Asian flavors. I never follow a recipe, and 99% of the time, my dishes come out amazing! The only problem with this technique is that I can never duplicate previous triumphs! (Especially with meatloaf)
My cooking tragedies
There are two tragedies that stand out in my memory. The first time I tried to make my husband his favorite pie-pecan-ended in disaster! He also stopped eating red meat a few years ago, and working with ground turkey hasn't always been the most successful of substitutions for ground beef.
