Pecan Pie Cake
About this Cook
My favorite things to cook
Anything with a million calories! I love to make desserts, and my tiramisu is legendary. I make extremely good deviled eggs, too.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Lasagna. Never going to repeat my sister's menu of pizza and corn on the cob. Baking Christmas cookies with dad. Homemade ice cream on Christmas Eve.
My cooking triumphs
Baklava!
My cooking tragedies
Strawberry pie with the glaza made from Kool Aid, and a pat-in-the-pan crust. Rhubarb custard pie. Luckily I overcame them before I developed a pie phobia.

Lefse II
I have to admit I haven't made this recipe, but it is NOT lefse! Lefse is potatoes, butter, flour, and a little milk and sugar. This just isn't it. No Scandinavian would ever confuse this.

Pecan Pie Cake I
Absolutely delicious! I rarely have "flops", but I was convinced this was going to be one when it came out of the oven all wiggly and jiggly. But it set up and when we tasted it, we loved it!
