Maple and Ginger Baked Beans

This was a hit! I used a 1/2 of bacon instead of the salted pork. Cooked in slow cooker on low for 10 hrs and took the lid off the last hr. No problems with the beans having too much liquid. I am moaking again this weekend for another bday party.

White Bean Chicken Chili

Excellent! This tastes so good and is very easy to make. Great flavors! My changes are: I used ground turkey, salsa verde instead of the tomatillos, canned corn, added diced jalapeños, more cumin, added a little bit of chili powder, added some diced fresh tomatoes and cornstarch to thicken it up. Topped with sour cream and cheese. I will definately make this again and again and again...

Barbecued Beef

SO good! Everybody loves it!!!! Have made it quite a few times now. Here are my notes: reduce vinegar to 1/8 Trim roast can freeze sauce while shredding meat and skim off fat turn on high with lid off last hour to thicken sauce Definately a keeper!

Peach Cake II

It has been awhile since I've made this. People were pleased with it. Wasn't a stand out nor have I had requests to make it again. Here are my changes: 1 1/4 sugar, 1/2 teaspoon cin, 1/4 veg oil + 1/4 orange Sauce - 1 stick butter, 1 cup sugar, 1/2 can milk little vanilla. boil 3 mins. I do think it's worthing to make again though. I'll give it another try when the occasion comes up.

BLT Pasta Salad

SO good and so easy! Here are my little changes: I used half ranch half mayo and add more than it says too because yes it does soak up a lot! Also I added peas and cheese. I think I've already made this recipe 4 times! Everyone LOVES it!

Seafood Stuffed Avocados

This was fantastic! I used ranch instead of the mayo, added dill weed and garlic powder, chopped the avocado, mised all together and served over roman lettuce. For the seafood I used frozen cocktail shrimp and REAL crabmeat allready flaked from the deli. Very easy to put together and serve.

World's Best Potato Salad

EVERYBODY loved it!Even the ones that said they don't like potato salad w/ vinegar! Did follow some earlier suggestions such as:cutting the sugar to 1/3 cup, increasing cornstarch to 2 tsp.,adding 4/5 slices of bacon and 1 tsp of celery seed while tossing with the onion and celery and using half apple cidar vinegar and half white vinegar for the 1/2 cup of vinegar. I had 3 people demanding for this recipe while they werer still eating this potato salad! YUM!
