Delicious Black Bean Burritos

So good and very easy. I usually make a bunch and indivually wrap them for easy lunches. I sometimes add some homemade salsa to the mix before stuffing the burritos, too.

Delicious. I added green beans, peas, carrots and celery. I also made my regular mashed potatoes to put on top instead of following the directions in this recipe.

Double Quick Dinner Rolls

So easy and delicious! Everyone had more than one. I could have had three but stopped myself at two:) I used bread flour because I was out of all-purpose, so it took a little longer to rise in the second step, maybe 45 minutes. I will definitely make these again!

Portobello Mushroom Stroganoff

Pretty good. I made some adjustments to the recipe. I only used 1/2 cup sour cream per other reviewers and it seemed like plenty. I added some garlic. I also replaced some of the broth with red wine and added a splash of worstershire sauce.

I have been making this recipe for several years and it is my husband's favorite. I am vegetarian so I substitute Morningstar Farms burger crumbles for the beef.

Mom's Warm Milk

This is delicious! It tasted a lot like a white hot chocolate I had years ago at a coffee shop and I haven't been able to find anything that tasted like it since. So creamy and soothing.

Spicy Seafood Shell Appetizers

These were okay. I made them for a party and I bought a bunch of the phyllo cups to fill with different mixtures. These seemed to be the least popular. I think if I made them again I would leave out the shrimp. I think they would have been better with just the crab.

Pumpkin Dip

This dip tastes really good. I made it for a party and served it with nilla wafers. The picture shows the dip served in a hollowed out pumpkin, which now I recommend because everyone thought it looked funny and a few people thought it was peanut butter! But once people tried it they loved it.

Stuffed Peppers

I really like this recipe. I had problems with the rice not cooking completely, so I started cooking brown rice separately and then mixing in the cooked rice before baking. This has worked very well. I also add chopped garlic and use orange and yellow bell peppers instead of green.

Candy Coated Pecans

Very easy and good. They are great for a party, just set out bowls of them and they will disappear. Don't forget the cooking spray though, I did and some of them ended up in the garbage because of stuck on wax paper.

Chocolate Truffles

This recipe is great and so versatile! I made milk chocolate, milk chocolate amaretto, and dark chocolate with orange liqueur. I will definitely make these again. It's fun to try the different variations then roll them in all kinds of things. I used crushed hazelnuts, toasted coconut and granulated sugar.

Portobello Pot Pie

My husband and I really liked pot pie, although I overspiced (my fault) because before cooking the filling seemed bland. Next time I will follow the recipe exactly.
