About this Cook
My inspiration to cook came from my Grandmother who was a caterer when she worked, and also my mom who makes all the yummy and delicious things in the world!
My favorite things to cook
*Cookies *Apple Crisp *Monkey Bread *Ice Cream *Fruity Doofers *Popovers *Granola *Pasta *Veggies
My favorite family cooking traditions
Every year my family and I make a bunch of Christmas cookies and then we hoard them...In Our Stomachs!
My cooking triumphs
-Chicken Pot Pie -Apple Pie -Gnocchi
My cooking tragedies
When i was about 8 or 9, i was baking a lemon Bundt Cake. I was Super excited and so I put the pan (w/ batter in it) in the oven to bake and i came skidding back into the kitchen at the timer and pulled my cake out of the oven and let it cool for a few minutes and then I started to take it out of the Bundt pan. It didn't work so well so instead of having a cake, I had a ball of Baked Lemon Cake mix. But it was good with the frosting!

Big Soft Ginger Cookies
These are great cookies! The only thing I have to complain is that the dough is very, very sticky and that makes it difficult to form the "walnut-sized balls". MY TIP: put the dough in the fridge for 5-10 minutes before forming the balls; it won't stick to you as easily and the dough is much easier to work with. AND: instead of rolling the dough balls IN the sugar; just sprinkle it on the dough before it goes into the oven and it will cut down on the sweetness. All in all a very good cookie.

Honey Nut Granola
I was so excited to finally finda Granola recipe that was delicious! I used the Olive oil instead of Canola oil, only to save on calories and fat. This was amazing and easy to cut recipe in half or double! This is extremely simple and whats best is that you can add things to it! If you are waiting for a great Granola recipe; I don't what is keeping you. Thank you for this great, simple recipe!

Strawberry Butter
This was very tasty and it keeps well. This wasn't like the kind of butter that you keep in your Fridge; this was thin but don't let that stop you! Excellent on a toasted English Muffin and Toast. Or even dip a Banana into it!!!
