Well, I have to start this blog on a good note, so this is probably the wrong place to start.  I need to admit that as a general rule, I do not like seafood in a dish (love it by itself) and am not a huge fan of Cajun food.   But, as it usually goes with me, something came along… MORE

Chicken or Turkey Tetrazzini Deluxe
Used this to do something with leftovers. Had a ton of gravy left, so used that in place of the soup and topped with a thin layer of stuffing. Don't like green peppers, so used celery instead, but thats a personal thing. Excellent.

Hot Chicken Wing Dip
Awesome. I use half blue cheese dressing and half ranch if I have both on hand. Usually don't add any grated cheese, it doesn't need it. Always a hit and never any leftovers!

Merwin's Shrimp Gumbo
Thought it was good, only 4 stars because the original recipe didn't include the chicken. Per the reviews, I cut the chicken up and threw it in at the end with the sausage and shrimp. I rushed my roux and it wasn't as good as it should have been. Keep the heat LOW and give it the time it needs to brown. I turned it up too high and it tasted a little burnt. We still ate it, but it wasn't as good as it should have been.
