Ever since 2003, this delicious bread has been a family tradition! This bread is so good - because flavor, not sweetness is it's forte!

Amish Breakfast Casserole

Terrific! Add more eggs, if you want, up to a dozen if you don't want to double the recipe. You can replace cottage cheese with sour cream, but the flavor should stay around the same. You also can replace Swiss cheese with any other similar cheese you have available.

Green Tomato Pie I

Reviewed: Nov. 1, 2009
No one could guess it! They all loved it though! I used ripe tomatoes, but the flavor tastes the same as apple pie very much. NOTE: Eat it fresh, not refrigerated (the tomato flavor comes out after a while if you use fresh toms)

Zucchini Cake

Reviewed: Oct. 21, 2009
This bread was VERY good, especially when toasted and then buttered :P I DID drop the sugar and oil: 1 cup and 1/3 cup respectively, and this helped the flavor pronounce itself! Add some vanilla to up the flavor, but this recipe remains a keeper!!!

Super Fast and Simple, and the BEST crust! Skip rolling/chilling - just press out onto pie plate. My friends where RAVING MAD over my cherry pie which had this crust - they immediately noticed the terrific flavor!

Mango-Pineapple Smoothie

Here's what I did: (a majority of the original ingredients, but different proportions): 4 cups frozen mango chunks, 2 cups sliced cold pineapple, 1/2 cup coconut milk, 1/2 cup yogurt, 1/2 cup orange juice, and 1/2 banana. Really good!!!

Food For The Gods II

Um, wow! it was pretty good, but my dates only were choppable, so it was like adding raisins to the batter. Still good, but not a very heaven-bound dessert - more of an end-of-beach-day treat.

Favorite Old Fashioned Gingerbread

Reviewed: Oct. 7, 2009
DO NOT BAKE FOR 1 HOUR!!!!! (It only needs 35-40 minutes) For spicy dark bread, use twice the amount of molasses, and add 1/4 cup freshly/finely shredded ginger... YUM!!! VERY Good recipe, but wrong bake time for tender bread.

Very Good! Try adding a Tablespoon of Sourdough Starter, and then letting the whole dough rest overnight in the fridge before forming and baking the Pretzaas! Yum!!! also brush them with milk just before baking for a shiny gold look.

Sourdough Buckwheat Pancakes

Unfortunately this was not very worth the making... kinda bland and no fireworks of flavors as one would expect with sourdough, so I recommend using the full amount of ginger, or trying pumpkin pie spice

Scrambled Egg Muffins

Very good, but be sure to take it out while it's stil a bit too gooey to ensure perfect texture when served. It tastes just like any basic scrambled eggs recipe, only with goodies and in a convenient form.

Ginger Lemonade

Reviewed: Apr. 13, 2009
Great Recipe! I recommend letting the syrup "steep" with the ginger slices in itfor 4 hours as written to ensure a spicy-ade. I've been looking for this one for a while, because years ago my family used to buy carbonated ginger lemonade :) Just buy some dry ice from any store and put it directly into your cups to carbonate this yummy summer drink!
