Sky High Yorkshire Pudding

Okay, I have been making Yorkshires for years so I think I know what to do and I like to try new recipes once in a while. They did rise up beautifully, but that was the end for me. Too eggy, too dense. I've had better.

French Toast Stars

Awesome! The orange zest and splash of vanilla did it for me. I used homo milk and think the cream would make it even better. Next time I will plan ahead and leave my bread slices to dry out overnight.

Shepherd's Pie VI

This recipe is great. The only thing I added was the Worcestershire to the beef and I did not mash the carrots just for the looks of it. Simple yet very wholesome flavour. I am not looking any further. Thanks Jacquie!

Barbie's Tuna Salad

This was a nice change and it still keeps the taste of tuna salad. I used a fresh minced red onion, fresh parsley and chopped garlic clove as I don't keep the dry stuff on hand. Will make again.

Kolaches From the Bread Machine

These are my first Kolache and they turned out just like my grandmas from Czech Republic. I made poppyseed and apple filling. Just before I put the filling on the dough I brushed the edge with some egg yolk and oil mix. That made them golden brown and still soft.

Cinnamon Rolls II

MAKE SURE YOU HALF THE DOUGH RECIPE! Unless you have a bigger breadmaker. Otherwise, those rolls are EXCELLENT! I sub the white sugar for brown in the filling and put in probably little more then it asked for.

Alaskan Salmon Chowder

This is really tasty, reminds me of my mom's chowder. Instead of chicken broth I made my own fish stock from salmon head that I bought in grocery store and boiled with some vegies. My husband loved it so much he had two helpings.
