I like simple direct balanced meals; offer me a meat, a potatoe, a veggie, a salad, I am happy.

Soups, Stews, Meat Loaf, Swiss Steak; these are among my family favorites.
My cooking triumphs
I spent 25 years in the restaurant industry. I started to cook at the age of 12 in a "Chicken Delight/Pizza Man". I continued to cook until age 17, where - wanting out, I joined the Military. In 1981 I left the Service and returned to cooking, this time with a degree in Food Service, and the opportunity to study under a Master Chef for three years. This career would take me several years into the future, where in the latter 90's I decided to return to school, not in cooking, but as a Transportation Specialist.
