I am a 28 year old stay at home mom. I have 3 daughters. Olivia is 4, Nora 2, and Rachel is 5 months old. My husband is a full time student at Cleveland Chiropractic college. I love to cook and I'm also a scrapbook fanatic.
My favorite things to cook
I love to cook just about anything, especially things that my daughters can help out with...Olivia is my little chef in training! I love the sweets!
My favorite family cooking traditions
Since the day I was born, every Christmas morning we've had gravy bisuits. Sausage gravy, livermush and mustard is a MUST, and a big pot of coffee. It started with my Grandmother, then my Mother, and this past year was the first time at my house! Over the years we have added dishes and taken away but one thing that has always been and always will be on the menu are the YUMMY gravy biscuits!
My cooking triumphs
I've mastered my Apple Pie...I also make a great Pumpkin Pie. People seem to enjoy my Meatloaf and Garlic Mashed Potatoes, Spaghetti, Spinach dip, and 10 layer Taco Surpreme. I have a Thanksgiving Herb Roasted turkey thats delicious!
My cooking tragedies
Several years ago, and my first pie...ever. I worked in adult day health care and as cooking program I decided that me and a few of the men would make an apple pie for the ladies. The pie looked awsome! We were so proud until I took the first bite...oh my goodness. I guess in the middle of all the fun we were having I didnt notice that one of the men had dumped in a cup of what was supposed to be sugar but was actually salt! We laughed about it for weeks!
