I am a working, married, mother of 2. I have a 15 year old son and a 12 year old daughter (yes, a fine time of life). I love to cook and my family is usually willing to try everything I make, which is great! I have made some really great recipes from AR including cheesecake, maple-garlic glazed pork loin, banana muffins, and honey potatoes. All of them were great! Anything and everything. We love all kinds of ethnic food from Polish to Lebanese. The city I live in has the largest Arabic population in the U.S. so we definately love hommous, shish tawook, chicken shwarma, and fattoush. We are a meat & potatoes type of family, never having dinner without a meat, couple sides, and a dessert too! We love a good steak, usually have it on Friday night (pay day) but my heritage is German. I make a great pork roast w/sauerkraut but that is about as German as I get. Awesome Beef Stroganoff recipe that I have experimented with over time. I'd submit it to AR but have no idea on exact measurements of the ingredients since I just put in more or less of what I have on hand or what tastes better that day! Hollandaise sauce! It was really, really bad! Too much lemon and thin like water, uggg.
