I'm a young 20-something musician. I freelance on steel pan and percussion, teach lesson, and even sell crafts online! I'm married and started cooking out of necessity. I love baking the most. I like to bake muffins, cookies and bread. Making cookies every christmas. I started cooking every night to save money. I work at home and have a lot more free time than my husband, who used to cook a lot. I used to be horrible at it, but now I'm pretty good and am finally able to adjust recipes and know how to fix problems. I still am not in love with cooking, but I do enjoy trying new recipes, and have come a long way from absolutely hating to cook! I've done so many stupid things in the kitchen, most of them involving me forgetting that I was cooking! I once was boiling eggs and forgot about them. I went in the basement with my husband for who knows how long. I suddenly remembered the eggs! I ran up stairs to a nasty smell. The water had boiled away and the eggs were actually popping open in the pan and everywhere! Now I set a timer whenever I boil water so I don't forget about it!
