I am a mother of two adult children and one corgi. My husband and I moved from Minnesota to Florida 10 years ago and love living in paradise. My favorite thing to EAT are lamb shanks, so I guess that would be my favorite thing to cook as well. When growing up we always had home made cookies in the house. My grandmother would make each of her 10 grandkids their favorite cookie at Christmast time, of course they were all different. There aren't many dishes I'm afraid of. However, I've always been afraid of risotto. I don't know why I think it was the whole cooking process. Now I could make it with my eyes closed! So good and so easy I have decided to bake cakes. I can do cookies, quick breads, and pies, so I thought cakes would be no big deal. The first one turned out to be the density of brownies and the second one tasted good but it crumbled when I frosted it. I'm not giving up yet!
