Apple Crisp II

Great recipe!! Can use this if you are short on apples. I used only 5 cups of apples, but used the same amount of topping. The extra "crisp" MADE this dessert.

Gingered Pepper Steak

Great recipe. I am not even a big beef fan. The key that made this good for me was cutting the steak very thin before you marinade. It turns out very tender, not chewy.

Spinach Chicken Parmesan

The chicken was very moist, but I agree with other reviewers, it is lacking something. I added garlic, but I wasn't quite satisfied. If someone comes up with something, please share! I served with rice, but will serve with pasta next time.

This made for a great light dinner or could be a well rounded lunch. Very flavorful!! Do not leave out the cucumbers, they give it a very refreshing taste.

Southern Red Velvet Cake

This cake was very dry and not what I expected out of a red velvet cake, which to me a red velvet cake is a very moist, rich cake. The only thing that saved this was the "basic cream chess frosting" from this website.

This was surprisingly very good consindering it was so simple and the ingredients seemed a little different I used small shells, but would use penne pasta next time, to make it a little fancier.

Chicken Florentine Casserole

If I could give it a 4.5 I would. I don't usually give out 5's. It was very good, did not add bacon, that sounded odd. Tried it with chicken that was marinated in garlic marinade, next time I will use plain chicken. It was a little salty with the marinade. Very good, will make again!

Cajun Chicken Pasta

Great recipe! I made this for my parents when they visited and I got very good reviews. My boyfriend said it was one of his favorites. I did not add as much cream just to cut back on calories and added a little hot sauce, we like things very spicy!

Chicken Wild Rice Soup I

I was surprised at the spiciness of the soup. I have always lived in MN and tasted many wild rice soups before and never had a soup with spice like this. It was surprising, but ended up being pleasantly surprising. I may have gone a little overboard with the seasonings though...

Linguine with Chicken and Sauteed Vegetables

My boyfriend thought it was the best thing I ever made! However, I did not think it was as impressive. I think next time I will add more garlic and use fresh veggies, as I just used a bag of frozen veggies this time.

Pork Chops with Garden Rice

This looked very pretty and was not so bad. The problem was that the pork was not very flavorful even after adding more seasoning and the rice came out pretty gooey even after baking for only 45 min. I say check it after 30 min.
