Eggnog II

I agree with the previous reviewers who said that this eggnog is just too thick. If I make again, I will cut the whipping cream or substitute it with something else.

I tried my first loaf of sourdough bread about 2 weeks after making my starter. The bread is delicious (the San Francisco Sourdough recipe on this website) but it is not nearly as sour as I expected. Also, I am so glad that others posted comments about feeding your starter beforehand. I never would have known to do so otherwise.

Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough + Cupcake = The BEST Cupcake. Ever.

Everyone who tried one of these cupcakes was pleasantly surprised and raved about them! They are a little time-consuming, but I think that making your own cookie dough (instead of using store-bought) is worth the extra effort. Just be sure to plan ahead.

Cinnamon Raisin Bread I

I loved this bread! It turned out very pretty, not to mention tasty. The only reason I gave the recipe 4 stars instead of 5 is that it was so large! I actually made only 1/3 of the recipe. I was very pleased with the results.

Green N Gold Egg Bake

I thought this recipe was really easy to make. But, I was disappointed with the blandness. Even after reading other people's reviews and trying to add a little "something" myself (cheese and some spices), I still wasn't impressed. I would probably exchange spinach and use broccoli and cheddar and possibly some ham.

Quick Chocolate Sandwich Cookies

I loved the cookies and the recipe was really simple. But I didn't like the filling as much. I thought it was a little too thin and too "cream-cheesy" and didn't set well. I am going to try the recipe again and work on refining the filling.

Chocolate Peanut Butter Cups

I got tons of rave reviews when I made these! You have to take your time to do it right, but I thought it was worth it. The creamy peanut butter filling is much better than store bought. I will definitely make again.
