About this Cook
I am the wife a recently retired Navy Seabee, have spent 10 of the last 13 yrs overseas. Loved it. Once again we are going overseas only this time as civilians. Muscat Oman here we come!
My favorite things to cook
love to cook Thai and Asians dishes.
My favorite family cooking traditions
For Christmas because of where we have been stationed and the lack of ham or turkey. Our tradition now is to have steak and lobster. We all like to make salads together and get creative doing it.
My cooking triumphs
I made this delicious Thai w/shrimp dish that was kind of hard to make and took a long prep time and it turned out so good. It was one of the best dishes that i ever cooked or tasted.
My cooking tragedies
Homemade breads. I make them and they turn out like hockey pucs. My meatloaf sometimes it is good sometimes not so good.

Zesty Porcupine Meatballs
my family enjoyed this recipe. I did, like other reviewers use more soup. I also added garlic, more pepper, chili powder and some italian seasoning. It was really good and I had all of the ingredients in the pantry.
