Bubba's Jambalaya
This was excellent! My husband spent a few years of his life in the south and said that it was just what he was looking for. The balance of taste was just perfect, and I could adapt the recipe to suit what ingredients I did and did not have on hand as needed.

Big Soft Ginger Cookies
These are a good basic cookie, and they stay soft, however they taste more of cloves than of ginger. I did use the other reviewers suggestions to reduce the sugar and not roll it in sugar (definitely needed! I used 3/4 cup and would reduce it further if I was going to frost these) and to use orange juice instead of water. My spices are new, and yet with all that it still came out horribly bland. Will not be making again without some major adjustments.

Blue Ribbon White Bread
This was far too sweet and flimsy to be considered a good versatile bread in my opinion. It did not hold together very well, and crumbled quickly. If you have a very sweet tooth and don't mind it falling apart this could be what you are looking for. If you are looking for a savory white loaf, this is not it. Two stars are for being true to it's "tender and creamy" claim.
