I have a very loving, appreciative husband and yes, twelve very individual, fantastic children. I stay at home here in Tahoe and don't have time for a lot of traditional hobbies. I just enjoy listening to my children and making everyone feel special and loved. I play table games, read stories, go on hikes and picnics, sew (Only with some one who wants to learn), and cook, cook, cook. Occasionally I do laundry and clean house. Most importantly, I go on a hot date with my husband once a week! I like cooking birthday dinners as unique as each of my children. I enjoy making cosy food in the winter and trying to make our summer picnics gourmet without spending hours in the kitchen. I work at making everyday meals as healthy and tasty as possible, but I throw the "Heathy" part out the window for special occasions. Every meal served in my home is family style around the table with no TV (We don't get any channels anyway)! At Christmas instead of a big dinner we have a huge breakfast which we nibble on all day until I heat up the fondue pots for a "Whenever you are hungry" dinner. Trust me, no one eats alone, rather in clusters, which is a fun change from the whole gang at once. My parents came to visit and my husband bought us tickets to the Shakespeare festival at Sand Harbor. I prepared a gourmet picnic in advance and surpised everyone with a four course meal that they all still talk about! The first meal I served my husband as a homemaker in my own home included a banana cream pie with a raw crust!
