Barley Bake
More mushrooms would make this perfect. also, this must be covered while it bakes or the top surface will be very chewy!

Mushroom Barley Bake
it is very important that this be covered! the first time i made this, i did not cover it since my favorite baking dish does not have a lid. the top surface turned out hard and chewy. the second time i covered it with foil and it was perfect!

Carrot Cashew Quiche
a little too much honey and cream for me. one of my guests commented that it was like a dessert.
