The flavor of this bread is very good. It smelled wonderful as it was baking and it is a beautiful looking bread! My husband really enjoyed it. I made a few alterations. I eliminated the walnuts (due to husband's preference), used 1/2 all-purpose flour and 1/2 whole wheat flour, and 1/2 white sugar-1/2 brown sugar. Great recipe - would make a great gift. Thanks for sharing!

We love this recipe and make it 2-3 times per month! I made a few minor changes. Instead of Velveeta, I used mexican blend shredded cheese. Also, once the burritos were assembled, I put them in a 9x13 pan, sprinkled some more cheese on top, covered with foil and baked in a 350 degree oven for about 20 minutes, then removed the foil and baked an additional 10 minutes. I have also added 1/2 cup of pureed butternut squash when heating beans/tomatoes/spices. This was an easy way to add additional veggies without even noticing it was in there!
