I am a weirdo who cooks to relax. I like to bake. Deserts, cakes, cookies, pies, cheese cakes and such. I also like to cook other stuff. Italian, German, comfort food, southern fare. I have 3 daughters and 1 son. My daughters do not share my love of cooking, but my son and I both love to make up recipes and try new things. He and I can both make a meal from stuff in the cupboard. Learning to make New York style cheesecake. I am torn between the bread exploding in the bread machine and putting baking soda in a cookie instead of baking powder.
