Received a nice set of old-world Italian recipes from my family when I could barely boil water. I also attended some classes on cajun cuisine when I lived in New Orleans. Time and practice earned me the position of cook in our home!

Super-Simple, Super-Spicy Mongolian Beef
This was fantastic!!! I made this for the wife and I on Sunday, and it was delicious! Followed the directions almost exactly, and let it marinate for about 24 hours. This is a definite make again! easy and delicious!

Jamaican Beef Patties
As has been mentioned, the dough needs to be doubled. Had a LOT of filling leftover. This is a great "get you started" recipe, but the meat could use a little more seasoning/adjusting.
