Great Easy Waffles
SCRUMPTIOUS WAFFLES! I am picky and critical, but these were award-winning for flavour, texture, appearance, and all-around eatability. I can see adding a bit of berries or chocolate for a variation. But just as they were, the lemon zest and vanilla made for a delicate touch that blends well with maple syrup, fruit, yoghurt, chocolate, whipping cream. I melted a pat of butter on mine and maple syrup and with maple sausages, these were divine. They did not stick in the waffle maker machine, either.

Soft Oatmeal Cookies
These were good, but not great. The recipe needed a bit of tweaking. The dough was too dry to for everything to adhere properly, so an extra egg was needed. The bottoms baked too rapidly so the oven rack needed to be raised. The oven temperature needed to be lowered to make them 'soft and moist'...and they are not really a moist cookie. That having been said, they were ordinary, good cookies, not great.

Veggie Sneak In Meatballs
Taste: nothing special. Needs something more. Recipe: didn't hold together. Most meatballs and meatloaves need bread crumbs added, or oatmeal, etc. So I had to add that to the mixture to get it to adhere properly. The simple breadcrumb coating was bland and tasteless and dried out in the oven. The cook needs to adjust this recipe to make it better.
