Salmon Steaks with Dill Sauce
Used a salmon fillet instead of steak and cooked for about 8-10 minutes. Also added some fresh dill to the broth. Very Moist and mild flavor. Even my four year old (picky eater) ate all of his and seconds. I did not try the dill sauce. Very quick and easy.

Sugar Cookie Icing
Very easy recipe for nice icing. I gave it 4 stars b/c the proportions are a bit off. With only 2 teaspoons of milk it was very sticky - took more like 4-5 teaspoons of milk before it was smooth. Having said that, it was easy to keep adding the liquids until the right consistency. Kids had a fun time painting the icing on, and it dries very professional looking (if not eaten right away!)

Garbage Quiche
Used this recipe for my first quiche ever and it was great! Very easy to do. I used a frozen pie crust to make it easier. Also cooked the bacon and yellow onion the night before my brunch to cut down on prep time that morning. Used cheddar cheese since that is what we had. Looking forward to trying the Gruyere and other filling combos. Used a deep dish pie crust and the quantities were perfect.
