About this Cook
I'm a 23 year old stay at home mom to a toddler and I love to cook! I live in Arizona and my husband is from New Mexico.... so I am a huge fan of REAL mexican food all things hot and spicy. I'm originally from the central coast of California, so I like to cook alot of food that is popular there as well :) "Santa Maria" style tri-tip
My favorite things to cook
Bread (all the bread we eat, even sandwich bread is homemade) mostly portuguese sweetbread, cookies, sauces and soups from scratch, Tri-tip (santa maria style hahaha), basically anything! I perfer making everything from scratch because it is cheaper, and I have plently of time and patience.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Tri-tip grilling! Awesome! My mom was a dinner in a box person, so all my family traditions are starting with me :)
My cooking triumphs
In the process of mastering breads.
My cooking tragedies
I don't fail often hahaha. I cook everday so i et plently of practice. Usualy the stuff i mess up on is the "easy" casserole food with rice involved. I can cook rice on the stove, but not in the oven.

Old German Honey Cookies
Good flavor, a nice mild cookie, just what I like. Not to sweet, even for the amount of sugar/honey in it. Reminds me of the super expensive german cookies I sometimes buy around the holidays. My one gripe is the recipe is rather large. Which may also be a good thing for other people. Best eaten fresh! Will make again, thank you for a simple delicious recipe!

Asparagus Wrap
This recipe is great EXCEPT the way I have had it is with boiled lasagna noodles instead of bread! I think this way with the bread wuld be disgusting. Try the lasagna noodles instead!
