Meatloaf
Me
About this Cook
Just turned 28, tired of fast food. Things in my personal life have moved around where I can cook more, and I can experiment with different things.
My favorite things to cook
Meatloaf =) Anything quick & easy, but I don't mind a challenge either!
My favorite family cooking traditions
My grandma would cook family dinner every Thursday. Everything from steak on the grill to casseroles, you name it she did it; and did it well! Not so much anymore though, she's not doing so well =(
My cooking triumphs
My first meatloaf! And not only did it turn out ok, it was GOOD!!! =)
My cooking tragedies
Buscuits & gravy. Noooooothing worked on that one =( Think I went over my head there.

Black Bean and Corn Quesadillas
Good recipe for sure! I opted for the folded versions, and did them in the oven so I didn't have to wait for more :) A little bland for my tastes, but that's easily adjusted with some hot sauce and sour cream. I'm thinking next time I'll go with some others and throw in a jalepeno or habenero to give it some kick! Definite keeper though!

7-Layer Meatless Tortilla Pie
Great recipe! Easy to make, and turns out wonderful. I served with sour cream, and wow! Will absolutely make again.

Meatloaf with Fried Onions and Ranch Seasoning
Great meatloaf! This was my first non-out-of-a-box baking attempt and it turned out fantastic! I halved it, since it's just for me. I used Heinz 57 for the steak sauce, only change I would make next time is less crackers, probably about 2/3 or so of what I used (I used 1 sleeve this time). Other than that turned out wonderful! Thanks for a great recipe!
