About this Cook
I am a medical student and so is my husband so that means that I have no time for anything outside of studying, reading, and taking exams. At least I have my husband right there with me through all of it! We like to cook together almost every day as a way to unwind and finding new recipes that we manage not to screw up is really fun for us. I have three cats and a big family and I like to run. That pretty much sums me up.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Making Christmas cookies with the family!
My cooking triumphs
Hmmm...I just made a great lasagna with italian sausage...but I can't take all of the credit because my husband helped and it was based off of his mom's recipe. I'll have to update this when I have a real cooking triumph of my own.
My cooking tragedies
They are mostly baking tragedies. The one that comes to mind is the extremely dried out chocolate cake that I served all of our friends on my huband's birthday. In the center of the pan the cake was so moist and perfect, but I think half of the guests ate pieces from the edge of the pan and how polite they were to not spit it out on my floor.

Cream of Tomato Gorgonzola Soup
This soup was great! It went nicely with a salad and fresh bread for a simple summer dinner. The only change I made was reducing the milk to 1/2 cup because we like our soup a bit thicker. Thanks for the recipe, I will definately make this again.
