I am a Born-Again-Christian who, absolutely, loves people; I have been an ordained minister of the Gospel of our Lord & Saviour Jesus Christ for 40 years, as of September 2007. I have been saved by the glory of God-The-Father for 40 years, as of May 2007! As a child, my mother worked as a domestic. I was allowed to start cooking for a family of nine people at age 9 and by age 11, I was cooking entire cusines. Fortunately for me I was reared in a community of loving (i.e. Hoosier) neighbors that gave me and my 3 brothers and 4 sisters love, direction, and a good example of what it meant to be a Christian. I believe that one has to "give-something-back" in order to make life worth living. So I attended College, University, Grad. School & Seminary for a total of sixteen (16) contiguous; consecutive years and am an Alumnus of five wonderful educational institutions in three different States. I earned five degrees (i.e. Three B.A.'s; an M.B.A.; and my Divinitaias Doctor - Doctor of Divinity I own 32 cook books including "Better Homes and Gardens New Cook" and "The Joy of Cooking" So I have a load of favorite things to cook. Our tradition is that of "Scratch Cooking" I learned to scratch cook at a very early age. First time attempts that come out right; second & third time attempts that teach me "problem-solving" skills That I can transfer over into the rest of my life! Boiling over liquids by paying too much attention to other duties!
