Our family did not care for this recipe and we will eat most anything. It was not watery for us, as I did simmer like the update suggested, but the taste was just not good at all.

I have made this recipe for the last 2 years at Christmas time. The most wonderful sugar cookies ever!! The only bad thing is they don't last very long around here and I have to make them several times during the Christmas season. They go great with the Decorator frosting recipe.

This is the most wonderful meatloaf I have ever tried! My husband loved it too. I went ahead and put the brown sugar and ketchup on top of the meatloaf instead of on the bottom based on the other reviews. The brown sugar soaked into the meatloaf giving it a wonderful flavor! The only other thing I changed was that I used garlic Club crackers instead of saltines because that is what I had on hand. I'll do it the same way next time I make it for sure.
