Whimpies
I'm anxious to try this recipe. Whimpies were always a staple sandwich served at most church & club functions in Indiana. Nobody had heard of a "Whimpie Sandwich" when I moved away from Indiana.

Cinnamon Oatmeal Cookies
Really, really good. A big improvement on traditional oatmeal cookies. I doubt I will ever make regular oatmeal cookies again. I used a lot of the suggestions from other comments (butter, half white/half brown sugar, extra cinnamon and a little nutmeg) and scaled the recipe to 60 servings. It still made a ton of cookies!

Cola Sauerkraut
I made this for New Year's Dinner and served with pork roast. I thought it was very good. I will try again with Brats.
