This was so delicious. I followed the recipe exactly, except that I used 2 tsp cinnamon instead of the cinnamon stick because I did not have the stick. Wow! Definitely a keeper!

I used red onions, red wine (instead of white wine) beef broth (since I did not have chicken broth) and added 2 bay leaves along with the salt and pepper, and it turned out terrific. My boyfriend, who is very wary of my cooking since some of my concoctions are not super appealing, even really enjoyed it. Definitely a keeper!

I used white wine instead of the olive oil, half a cup of tomato puree instead of tomato paste, and celery instead of the green peppers. It turned out fantastic!
