Bacon Roasted Chicken

Great! My picky 14 year old son loves this chicken so much that we call it "Chicken Zachary". I serve it with baked potatoes and we crumble/put the bacon on top of them.

Baklava

My 16 year old daughter made this as part of her final project for cooking class and it turned out great. She used 3/4 almonds and 1/4 pistachios.

Peanut Butter Oatmeal Cookies

So good! I used 1/2c butter and 1c shortening and added choc. chips to 1/2 the batter and both versions are excellent.

Oklahoma Cheese Grits

My hubby and I loved this but the kids (who have never had grits) didn't like the consisency. I'll make it again but for the whole, extended family.
