i love to cook for people i love and to make them feel special by making nice things for them. the things my mom made for us growing up, dominican food, anything that looks interesting or challenging. i recently attempted making fondant and it turned out perfectly! i have had many--that's how i have figured out what works, by messing up! the biggest was when i had 15 people expecting supper and all my lasagna noodles stuck together. i was so frustrated i chucked them across the room. then i took a deep breath and figured i would just make the sauce a little "soupier" and put dry noodles in. it turned out fine and no one knew i had been in tears a couple hours before!
