About this Cook
I just noticed that people love my cooking has expert attached. While I do think I rock... just kidding lol, I'm not really an expert. :D Anyway I just moved to Texas and I'm looking for new recipes to compliment the new region. I have an overwhelming urge to make Chili.
My favorite things to cook
Macaroni and Cheese (with grated cheese not cheese sauce), brownies (see below), pasta dishes, I usually cheat on weekdays and make hamburger helper but occasionally I make hambuger helper without a box.
My cooking triumphs
5 layer chocolate cake (rawr! lol) My first time using rolled fondant, so proud of myself.
My cooking tragedies
Brownies from a allegedly simple recipe! (the birds flew away from them)I'm gotten much much better with practice and a better recipe. :) I've made a lot of mistakes but that was the only one not edible, I once forgot to put icing in the middle of the cake. My mother still laughs about that one.

No Bake Cookies III
I learned to make these a long time ago, but lost my recipe in my many moves. Only one thing I change: depending on the moisture in the kitchen and outside I add a little bit more oatmeal to dry it out a bit. 1 minute has always been enough, even though humidity has killed many of these cookies :)
