Well I am a fashion student, I work full time in accounting, I live with my boyfriend of three years and we have a devilish little puppy named Mimi. Since being on our own, my boyfriend and I have developed some bad eating habits, and I am trying to break those by making healthy but tasty dishes every night. So far so good! Growing up as an only child, I never really HAD to learn to cook, so here I am, cooking on my own. I would say that I have a little natural talent, as nothing I have made has been horrible. ;-)

Smothered Potatoes
This recipe by itself was rather bland. The potatoes looked and smelled great, but tasted so-so. I simmered with chicken broth instead of water, added some Italian seasoning, a shake of garlic powder, and some Artisan Blend shredded cheese.

Barbeque Chicken
As said many times over, great tasting sauce but very runny. I thickened it with cornstarch before pouring over the chicken, but end result was still runny. I will prob save this recipe for the sauce and use it the next time I decide to grill some chicken.

No-Fuss Cinnamon Cheesecake
I didn't think that this recipe was all that special. Possibly it was something I did, but I followed the recipe exactly. It tasted good, but I don't think this is something that I would make again.
