About this Cook
I love to cook but I'm not good at making things up as I go. I like to follow recipes step by step the first time I make them, then the second time I can sometimes change it up a bit.
My favorite things to cook
I love making dessert :) It's just so rewarding because everyone loves it.
My cooking tragedies
I once tried to make a dessert that called for one packaged of koolaid. Well... that one package just seemed so small to me so I put in 2 packages! Twice the goodness right? WRONG! This turned out tasting horrible :P So bad in fact that my family asked me to never make this again even though I said next time I would only use the 1 packaged the recipe called for. Oh well :) That is why now I stick the the recipe 100% the first time I make something new.

Chicken Enchiladas V
The recipe, as is, would be bland. I used one can of Enchilada sauce along with the cream of chicken. Next time I think we will use no cream of chicken and either use 2 cans of Enchilda sauce or 1 can of enchilda sauce and 1 can of something like Fiesta cheese. I didn't change anything else. It was very easy to make! I made 4 with real chicken and 4 with veggie chicken (morningstar) all in the same pan. My husband LOVED it but agreed it needed a little extra zing.

White Chocolate Amaretto Cake
This is good but not awesome. I made this for valentine's day and I enjoyed it, but I did find myself eating most of it as my husband only had one slice. We ended up throwing some away. Next time I think I'd make it half the size, just one round, as 2 rounds was too much for us.

Perfect Pumpkin Pie
This Pumpkin Pie was awesome! I used a Ready-made graham crust as many have suggested. Make sure to cook it the full time. My first pie looked a little brown so I cooked the second pie for 10 minutes less. It turned out the first pie was perfect and the second pie was runny. It's not gonna burn so cook it the full time!!
