I love cooking. It (and art) is my passion.
My favorite things to cook
Sauces are probably my specialty. I love all meats, and pastas as well. Desserts (especially mousse and puddings)too.
My favorite family cooking traditions
My dad and I make "Coke Chicken" which is literally chicken legs cooked in a pot, with coke (or any soda really)poured into it and broiled with seasoning until it's fall-off-the bone delicious. (It was one of those accident recipes.)
My mom and I always made Quiche Lorraine. So tasty and full of green onion, ham and various cheeses. Delicious.
My grandfather's secret family recipe, Hassenpfeffer is a rabbit stew that we have had for Christmas every year since as long as I can remember and it's always delicious!
My cooking triumphs
Too many to list. I can pretty much make anything wonderfully if I put my mind to it. (I always alter the recipes to suit my tastes, and it hasn't failed me yet.)
My cooking tragedies
Baking as it turns out is not my strong point. Sometimes it just doesn't work out.
