Shepherd's Pie VI
EASY EASY EASY!!! and GREAT!! I used instant potatoes (my mother would DIE!) I used a packet of mushroom gravy and added 1 cup of warm water to it and set it aside while i cooked the meat. To the gravy i added ketchup, a small jar of mushrooms, and some A1 sauce... didn't have HP. I used a steambag of veggies from the freezer section (carrots, corn, and asparagus) I added the flour to the meat, then the gravy mixture and heated through. Then dumped the bag of veggies in with the meat before pouring it in the bottom of the pan. Then added potatoes on top followed by more cheese.... I know the foodies out there would "tisk tisk" me for going the easy route, but the bag of veggies made it! Also love the crunch of uncooked onion in the potato topping!! GREAT!!

Buttermilk Pie IV
This pie was good. I have had better buttermilk pie and I have had worse. I had a problem with butter "pooling" on top of my pie while it was baking. I have never had this happen before. This made me have to bake the pie longer. Don't get me wrong I ate the whole pie (over a few days) but I feel like there are better recipes for this pie. Make sure you cream the butter with the sugar. That is the most important part! If I am in need of a quick dessert I might come back to this.

Cake Mix Cookies IV
I have always loved these cookies because they are easy to make and you can make them your own. I usually make rocky road cookies with this recipe. Take chocolate butter cake mix or devil's food and add marshmallows and pecans. It really helps if you have a silpat to bake on.
